Brooke DiPetrillo, MPH
Grants Team Lead, ChildFund International
Brooke joined ChildFund in February 2013 as the Project and Grants Management Specialist and recently transitioned to the Grants Team Lead managing a team of post-award grants management officers and a portfolio of 40 projects exceeding $100 million. Brooke joined ChildFund from the CDC Foundation in Atlanta where she managed a portfolio of 26 grants including a number of domestic health projects and managed a coalition of partners dedicated to supporting safe injection practices. Prior to the CDC Foundation, Brooke worked at CARE as a member of their Sexual and Reproductive Health Team. While at CARE, Brooke supported a multi-year, $25 million project that aimed to strengthen health systems and family planning service delivery in Pakistan, Tchad and DRC. Brooke also supported a multi-year, multi-million Gates funded project in India exploring the effect of gender roles and social and cultural norms on family planning service utilization. Brooke was an Environmental Education Peace Corps Volunteer in Bolivia. She holds a BS in Marine Biology from the University of Miami and an MPH from Georgia State University with a concentration on public health policy and management. When she’s not working, Brooke spends every minute trying to make her 6 month old laugh with endless tickling, peek-a-boos and kisses from head to toes. Brooke works remotely from Roswell, GA (not the Roswell with Aliens).
