Brooke DiPetrillo, MPH

Grants Team Lead, ChildFund International

Brooke joined ChildFund in February 2013 as the Project and Grants Management Specialist and recently transitioned to the Grants Team Lead managing a team of post-award grants management officers and a portfolio of 40 projects exceeding $100 million. Brooke joined ChildFund from the CDC Foundation in Atlanta where she managed a portfolio of 26 grants including a number of domestic health projects and managed a coalition of partners dedicated to supporting safe injection practices. Prior to the CDC Foundation, Brooke worked at CARE as a member of their Sexual and Reproductive Health Team. While at CARE, Brooke supported a multi-year, $25 million project that aimed to strengthen health systems and family planning service delivery in Pakistan, Tchad and DRC. Brooke also supported a multi-year, multi-million Gates funded project in India exploring the effect of gender roles and social and cultural norms on family planning service utilization.  Brooke was an Environmental Education Peace Corps Volunteer in Bolivia. She holds a BS in Marine Biology from the University of Miami and an MPH from Georgia State University with a concentration on public health policy and management. When she’s not working, Brooke spends every minute trying to make her 6 month old laugh with endless tickling, peek-a-boos and kisses from head to toes. Brooke works remotely from Roswell, GA (not the Roswell with Aliens).

Hedwige “Didi” Saint Louis, MD, MPH

Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dept. of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Morehouse School of Medicine

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Didi Saint Louis spent her formative years traveling due to her father’s job as a Haitian diplomat. After graduating Cum Laude with a baccalaureate in economics from the Lycee Alexandre Dumas in Port au Prince, Haiti, Dr. Saint Louis attended Boston University for a year then transferred to the University of Central Florida where she graduated with Honors with a BS in Psychology. Upon completing undergrad, Dr. Didi embarked on her medical career, first earning her medical degree from the University of Miami, then completing a surgical internship at the University of Missouri and completing her Ob/Gyn residency at New York Medical College/St Vincent Catholic Medical Center. After residency, Dr. Didi served as an assistant professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and earned her Masters of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health. In 2006, Dr. Didi and her family relocated to Atlanta, where she worked in private practice. In 2012 Dr. Didi left private practice to join Morehouse School of Medicine’s department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as an assistant professor. In addition to teaching Dr. Didi started her own health and wellness business focusing on mothers and babies, Healthy Mommy, Happy Baby, Inc. while also joining forces with GirlTrek, Inc to promote health and activity for women of color.

Dr. Didi also serves as the affiliate medical director for the southeast affiliate of Planned Parenthood, covering Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi.

Breanna Lathrop, DNP, MPH, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Breanna is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Good Samaritan Health Center where she provides primary care for uninsured families throughout the metro-Atlanta area. Her practice includes a focus on women’s health and prenatal care. She received her Master’s in Nursing and Master’s in Public Health at Emory University and is currently completing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Georgia Southern University. Her research focuses include group prenatal care and health policy. Breanna has worked for and served on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations since finishing her undergraduate degree in nursing. She is the mother of a happy, healthy, energetic toddler who is an avid breastfeeder and is expecting her second child in February 2014.

Tiffany Burgess, MPH

ICF International, Health Education and Social Programs (HESP) Group Senior Associate

Tiffany Burgess, MPH, has more than 12 years of public health experience. Throughout her career, she has worked on numerous research and evaluation projects with a focus on chronic disease prevention. Ms. Burgess has an impressive background in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. She has conducted evaluability assessments (EAs) and rigorous evaluations, rendered technical assistance (TA), spearheaded program implementations, and provided managerial oversight. Ms. Burgess has experience at the local, state, and federal government levels. She is an experienced qualitative researcher, who has conducted site visits around the country on behalf of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Cancer Society (ACS), and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF)

Shaconna M. Haley, M.A.

DONA Birth Doula

Shaconna M. Haley, M.A.  is a strategic empowerment consultant, birth doula (DONA trained) and researcher on the reproductive life cycle.  She has over 18 years of experience in consulting services, offering project/program management, training and life coaching for personal, organizational and institutional development to bolster targeted initiatives for diversity inclusion, leadership, transitions, civic engagement, mentoring, disability awareness, and empowerment of youth/young adults and women’s reproductive empowerment.

Ms. Haley obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Hampton University, M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University and M.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Race, Gender and Social Justice from American University, specializing in sociology of birth.  She combined knowledge of sociological, psychological and development theory with independent study of culture, spiritual healing, empowerment, authoritative voice and life coaching in the conceptualization and creation of two business ventures: 1) InnerLight, private consulting on women & girls empowerment initiatives, transition work and reproductive life cycle development and wellness — specifically, Inner Light Holistic Prenatal & Birth Doula Services; and 2) MOSAIC Strategic Empowerment Consulting, diversity and inclusion initiatives for small businesses, non-profits, organizations and work teams.  As an independent consultant, Ms. Haley has built a diverse clientele of individual clients, community non-profit organizations and government agencies.  As a lecturer, trainer and presenter on birth, diversity, inclusion, cultural competency and dynamics, Ms. Haley’s “Leader Mentorships” paradigm and motto “inspired and engaged leader, empowered and effective team”, she has practically engaged a variety of forums, including in both the public and private sectors.

Ayana Bishop, CPA

Accountant, B. Watson & Company

Ayana is an auditor / manager with B. Watson & Company, a local accounting firm in Atlanta.  She manages the firm’s Assurance and Accounting Department, as well as provides tax preparation and general accounting services to clients. She has over 15 years’ experience in the accounting profession.  Her years of experience include providing assurance, accounting, tax and financial services to small to medium sized businesses.  She has worked with clients of various industries including retail, professional services, healthcare, real estate, construction, nonprofit and entertainment.

 A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Ayana is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  She is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified of Public Accountants (GSCPA). She is also mother to a very vibrant, energetic, smart four-year little boy. 

Maggie Williams-Dryden

Marketing Manager, Numerex

Maggie Williams Dryden is an integrated product marketing and marketing communications leader with 10+ of progressive experience in fast-paced, high growth environments. She specializes in “marketing turnaround,” helping companies develop strategic plans that drive creativity into actionable and organized objectives that yield results. Maggie has a proven track record of designing and leading high performance marketing strategies that drive revenue and differentiate brands in the marketplace. She has been recognized for this experience across marketing disciplines and has a proven ability to lead revenue generating initiatives while managing multiple projects to deliver shareholder value. 

A rare Atlanta native, Maggie was delivered by Margaret Strickhouser in Douglasville. Maggie grew up in Roswell/Marietta/Woodstock before moving to Baton Rouge in middle school. The road back home was dotted with many stops along the way. After graduating high school in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Maggie went on to graduate with honors from the University of Minnesota. After college she worked in Chicago and Orlando before moving back to Atlanta. Her marketing and sales experience, while primarily focused around technology, spans industries including hospitality, finance and accounting, government, legal, healthcare, retail, and IoT.
